Living Life to The Full

Do you want to feel happier, have more energy, gain confidence, enjoy better relationships, feel less stressed and develop skills to deal with life’s challenges?
Join us at LIVING LIFE TO THE FULL! See if this program is the right fit for you at our online orientation session August 31st at 10am. If you have missed the orientation session but are still interested in learning more – reach out to Nina!
If it is the right fit, join us for 1.5 hours online per week for 8 weeks (September 14th, 2022 until November 2nd, 2022).

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction

Do you want to learn how to cope with stress and meet life’s challenges with greater ease?
MBSR is best suited to individuals who are motivated and open to learn how to better manage stress in their lives.
The benefits people gain from this practice are the direct result of the effort they put into the practice.
Those coping with all aspects of stress related to persistent illness, work, family, chronic pain, problems with sleep, digestive problems, headaches, anxiety, panic, depression or grief are welcome.

Living Well with Chronic Pain Self-Management Programs
A six-week program offered twice a year by trained Peer Leader volunteers and staff. Facilitators lead activities on many topics including making an action plan, working with your health care professional, dealing with difficult emotions, getting a good night’s sleep, managing symptoms, making decisions, etc. Individuals and family members living with or supporting someone with chronic pain are encouraged to attend. Location varies to make program easily accessible.
Triple P Positive Parenting
A researched parenting program in partnership with Every Kid in Our Community. Facilitators provide information and resources to help parents raise competent children by teaching life skills.
Oral Health
Ministry funds are allocated to help individuals on low income who are in need of dental care assistance. Participants must meet specific criteria in order to be eligible. Clients are supported through Rideau Community Health Services by calling 613-283-1952.
