What: Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction is a nine session program which includes practical instruction about our responses to stress and intensive training in mindfulness techniques such as meditation, yoga, breathing and relaxation. You will be asked to practice these techniques at home for 30 – 45 minutes every day with resources provided to support your practice.
Who: For adults interested in dealing more effectively with life stresses. This program will give you tools to help you cope with stress and your reactions to stress. You may be interested if you experience stress related to work, family, finances, pre or post-surgery or health conditions such as chronic pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia, high blood pressure, panic, anxiety, depression, SAD, sleep disturbance or headaches.
